2005 Dodge Durango Limited Hemi Gas Gauge problem

2005 Dodge Durango Limited Hemi Gas Gauge problem
I have a question on the gas gauge on the overhead gauges to monitor the mileage.
When I get gas the gauge will go to say 150 miles on digital readout and the gas gauge will read half full.
I drive down the street and the needle on the dash gauge will drop down by the width of the needle and the digital OH display will drop to say 140 miles dropping 10 miles within going a mile down the street.
This also happens when I first start the D in the morning the gauge will read what ever point its at and same with the overhead display. I travel 1 mile down the street and the overhead display will drop say 10 miles but only traveling 1 mile then it will drop more than I'm traveling.
Is there a way to re calibrate the display or is this just not worth bothering to try and find if there is a problem with the gauge and display?
