Unhappy Dodge Durango owner

I got Dodge Durango 5.7 with this problem when raining get a engine failure.

Something a did is try with wet with water hose to get the failure but with not success.

maybe somebody see this failure, please let me know where
I can check.

Look at the gasket where the cowling meets the windshield. Is there a gap that would let water through into the engine compartment? That is what happened to mine, I replaced the cowl and also applied silicone to the leading edge.

There may have been a recall on your model year.
