Electric/transmission help!!!
Ok ive got a tough one! Check engine light came on couple weeks ago. Codes came back for bad transmission shift solenoid so i replaced it and reset the mil light. Drove great for a mile came back on. Had dealer diagnostic and they said trany fluid flush. So i did that and the mil came back on! Seems like every time i get the codes read its something new! So far changed both input/output speed sensors, transmission pressure sensor, had a quick learn done on the tcm and yesterday had the entire pcm reflashed! Always runs good for a mile or so and then the mil light comes back on. Had the codes read after the reflash yesterday and this is what i came back with...
P0700-general transmission problem
p0732-inproper gear ratio 2nd gear
p0735-inproper gear ratio 5th gear
p1790-fault after shift, transmission control module
p0871-transmission fluid sensor/swithch "c" circuit, range/performance
p0846-transmission fluid sensor/swithch "b" circuit, range/performance
ive put about $500-600 into it already and im at my wits end!

How many miles on your D?
You need to be careful here as it sounds like you may end up with a new transmission when it is not needed.
#1. How old is your battery, and have you had it load tested lately?
#2 The TPS sensor on the 4.7L engines is known for causing all kinds of erratic trans behavior when it is on the way out.
The part is $40 at Autozone, and I would change that BEFORE I spent anymore money on the trans itself
Sounds like the dealer did not make a correct diagnosis. I would be going back to them and requesting further inspection on their dime as you have already paid them to perform a repair, and it was not done.
The fact that you had already been inside the trans and put new fluid in there makes the need for a "flush" fishy in my eyes.
The recommended service for these transmissions is to drain/refill them with a new filter/fluid and leave it at that.
A flush is a moneymaker for the dealer, and not a "proper" service unless they drop the pan, clean it, and install new filters!

Is the TPS sensor the same as the govenor pressure sensor/govenor pressure solenoid/ transducer? I took it to the best transmission shop in town n they told me its an electrical issue outside of their capabilities. Could b short could b bad harness who knows

The TPS is the Throttle Position Sensor attached to the side of the throttle body with 3 torx screws.
It provides feedback to the PCM so it knows what kind of throttle demands are being required of the engine, and helps the trans shift accordingly.
Don't overlook the battery if it has not been tested/replaced recently.
How many miles on the Durango????

All the codes but I've gotten so far have been for the transmission. So I didn't even think to check the TPS. The battery is only about nine months old I've cleaned the post several times within the last night. It had 141 almost 142,000 miles on it when the check engine light came on. I may try to change the TPS this afternoon.
