Default 04 Durango 5.7L 180k miles. Electrical Drain issue

I have an 04 Durango with a parasitic drain. It seems to be caused by a leak from the upper windshield area on the drivers side which is allowing water to reach the fuse panel on the drivers footwell. Around the same time the leak started out Airbag light has come on and we have a sporadic flashing of the Instrument cluster lights with a gauge drop. I have looked in the area of the fuse panel but have not found anything obvious yet. Is this an issue someone ha come across before? Any info is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Bawston:
The issue of water getting past the wiper cowl and into the engine compartment is well known, but I have not seen any where water was going into the passenger compartment.

My 04 also has the cowl issue, and I have yet to take care of it.
Your airbag light could be a clockspring issue at 180K. Have you checked to be sure that all of the recall/repair work involving the gauge cluster has been done?

Call a dealer with your VIN as the 2004 has a recall for the instrument panel.
