I have a 2005 Durango limited Hemi with 49k miles. I want to put new shocks front and rear. Looking to get Blisteins for the D. I see on this site most D owners prefer and are glad they went with Blisteins.

What part # should I look for, both front and rear? I see some listings here and some have different part #.

I bought the D 3 yrs ago this July 2013. I had the warranty and had them put new shocks on the front because of the chatter on the road going around a rotary or turn on the highway. Bought with 32k and have only put 17k miles in 3 yrs. I had brand new BF Goodrich Long trail Tour tires put on the D yesterday and still the bouncy ride I needed tires so got a deal for $730 installed.

I went out to the D this morning and pushed on the front of the D and it bounced about 3 times. The rear was about the same. The shocks are OEM and the fronts only 3 yrs old.

So my question is do you all think I should put the Blisteins on the D? Anyone know of any good sales for the Blistiens

Just wanted to get back to my post and update it.

I received the Bilsteins and installed them today. I'm on vacation this week so I got up this morning and started about 10:30am and finished at 12:30pm couple of hours, took my time and all went well. I did install the rears with the boots on the bottom. I did try to fit with boots up but would not fit with boot up.

The Durango rides 100% better takes the bumps much softer and the ride is much stiffer but no way to much.

I'm glad I purchased them with all the info from this forum on other people who have bought them. If I ever get another vehicle and it rides like my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee and my 2005 Durango i will definitely again get Bilstein shocks.

The rear only install with the boots on the bottom. Not sure why though.
