08 aspen vibration at speed.
Hello everyone.
A friend of mine owns an 08 aspen with a hemi. At around 70 mph itll vibrate. She thinks it has to do with the cylinder deactivation garbage. What could it be an why? There is not a cel or anything signaling an obvious problem.

A pretty good way to eliminate such an issue from being engine related would be to get the vehicle up to 70, and then move the trans into Neutral to allow engine rpms to drop back down to idle.
If the vibration remains, then the issue is a driveline balance problem such as a bad U joint, out of balance tire, etc. Of coure, the issue will cease when the vehicle gets far enough below 70, but should not disappear in an instant.
If the vibration ceases immediately in Neutral, then I would suspect an engine issue.
Usually MDS issues arise because the required 5w20 motor oil was not installed as required by Dodge.
