2006 Durango 5.7 Hemi Wind breaking door seal
I just picked up a used 06 D and we were testing the windows and when you put one rear window down the driver’s door seal breaks and vibrates. Wind also comes in with the windows closed at 120 km/hr. on the top left of the driver’s door. Please advise if this is a known issue and if there are any fixes.
Is the drivers side window slightly down? If one window is put down with the other three closed you will get a lot of turbulence and a 'helicopter' sounding noise that is very annoying until one more window is opened. I have wind / rain deflectors and they only help with deflecting the rain if you have your windows slightly opened.

In addition to what Fascistfaction advised, it may also make the noise you have a sunroof and it is open. If the buffeting noise is occurring with the rear windows open, open the front and rear windows together to minimize the buffeting or if it with the sunroof open, adjust the sunroof opening.
Other then that there is nothing that I have heard of related to your concern.
If you have any questions feel free to PM me.
I have the same problem with wind noise above 100km/hr on my '06. Its worse in a cross wind. Passenger side door isn't making a tight seal, even with all windows up and sunroof closed.
I'm guessing the door is out of adjustment but havn't played with it yet.
Anyone tried adjusting their doors for a better seal?

My wife has an 04 and we had the same problem. Before you try replacing the door seals for 80 each from the stealership, or taking the doors off and playing with the hinges, try tweaking the top of the frame back in. It fixed mine.
Open the door and ROLL DOWN THE WINDOW. (You don't want shattered glass everywhere, do you?)
Place your knee in the middle of the door on or above the arm rest.
Grab the top of the door with both hands and PULL.
Unless you're a body builder or have an insane amount of rust, you're not going to damage much. You're not trying to bend the top of the door in half, but you "are" trying to bend the top of the door, KWIM? Just tweak it back in a little bit.
When you're done, try sliding a dollar bill between the seal and the frame. If it doesn't slide, you're probably okay.
Worked for me, anyway. (Though I would love to get my $160 back from the dealership...)
