I just tuned my 07 5.7L D with a Cortex 3950 from Superchips.. I did the 91 octane as I have read most people have the best power and fuel economy with this tune, but now my EPS/BAS, TSC, and ABS lights are permanently lit up. I just took it for a 45 minute drive, mainly on highways but some back roads too.. I also changed my tire size via the tune since I put larger tires on.

Does anyone know how to get rid of these lights? Is there something wrong (nothing shows up in diagnostics)? Will they just go away or should I take off the tire size or do a diff tune?

Anyone have these issues and get a solution??

I put the tires back to Stock setting (which isn't accurate for what I'm running) and all the lights went away... Might I have to do something with the gear ratio too to not **** off the ABS and ESP warning lights?

I'd rather update my tire size in the tune so my speed-o is right

 

Does your Cortex have the lastest updates? Might want to check.

I used the Cortex on my wifes 2008 Dakota 4.7 to change tire size and had to problems. Now its on her 2006 Durango but I havn't tried adjusting tire size, just performance.

 

I just got a cortex for my 07 durango 5.7L...first thing I tried was tire size change...latest update as of 2014/03/19. Same here EPS, TSC, and ABS lights up...Superchips just told me that its not a high priority but are looking into it when they have the time...I guess I just keep tires at stock size and keep doing the math until a potential update happens since I dont like looking at lights and I like the ABS to work (it doesn't with the tire size tune - I locked up the brakes).

 

I talked with Superchips about this and they do not have an ETA on tire size software fix with the Cortex 3950. Which to me means they wont be updating for this...probably on a different vehicle module that doesnt communicate with performance module. Too bad as this was the main reason I bought the tuner.
