I made a hard right hand turn and when I came to a stop the oil light (and annoying beep) came on. I immediately pulled over and checked the oil. It was a little low so I added oil. The light and beep still come on. The engine sounds fine. Is there a wire or something that might have come loose or something? Any ideas?

Yes the wire from the oil pressure sender or pressure sending unit may be bad. May want to double check oil level, hard stop and hard corner low/no oil pressure are a sign of low oil and its being forced away from the pickup so its sucking air.

 

I did check the oil and it was fine. Do the sending units go bad?
