Caliber Break Problem - Cracked
Today I took my DD to replace the shoes, the mechanic opened the rear brakes and found that the caliper/cylinder is cracked and needs to be replaced. I went to the dealer to purchase this part to find that they don't have it in stock!! They further annoyed me by saying that it would require 10 days in order to place an order for this part. WOW!! I have kept my SUV in the mechanics shop for such a long period because such a simple part is not in stock. We have two dealers here and both don't have this part in stock!?
I love my DD, however, with these continued disappointments with the dealers, I find myself with a heartbreak! The transmission first (no powertrain warranty) and now this. The SUV has been in shop for 20 days in a months period.
The Middle East region dealers have truly disappointed me and I am now truly thinking of getting rid of this burden. What do you all think?
Your views and suggestions are truly appreciated.

I think all cars, domestic or foreign, have problems. Some more than others. My 2003 Durango did not have one single problem in the four years that I owned it, but my 2007 had a transmission failure, gas tank purging problem and an ignition locking problem.
