Default question

I have a durango 2006.. I pushed the breaks too hard because I was going to crash, I parked and turn off the car then I tried to turn it on, but it would turn off..I did it twice as nd the third time it woulnt crank... I change the battery with new one but still no crank.. I reset it by taking the negative cable off for 15 min... and still no luck.. a mecanic checked it with a computer and marked as invalid key..I'm I doing something wrong or did the computer on the car is not programmed with the key..is that wy it doesn't star?

Lcacogui87,

Do you have a spare key available that you are able to try? If they both do not work you may want to have the vehicle further diagnosed by a Dodge dealer to pin point the issue.

Please feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
