Default Newbie needs help

Hello all, I am/was a Mopar enthusiast up until recenlty and am posting here solely in hopes to get some help from other Dodge owners. My wife and I purchased a 04' Dodge Durango in June of 2004 (along with a new Jeep Grand Cherokee the same day) and within the first 1k miles we have had ongoing problems with a very loud squeaking and rattling noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. The noise is so loud you can't even hold a conversation in this 40,000 dollar vehicle. We have tried 2 local Dodge dealerships and after 6 visits and 24 days in the shop it still isn't fixed and both dealerships have told me they too hear the noises but have exhausted every option they can think of to fix the vehicle. We were told to consult the Lemon Law and did follow the process for this and wrote a letter to Daimler Chrysler with the specifics of the vehicle problems. Now 2 months after intially receving a call from DC confirming they received our letter we have been promised 4 different dates in which we can expect a remedy from DC. Each date promised has been broken and today when politely calling to ask the status to DC's customer service line I was told I will just have to wait until the business development center feels like getting to it. I and my family have owned Mopar products for more than 15 years but when I heard that it was really hard not to blow a gasket. We had hoped to get this taken care of without the need for attorneys and I guess niave to think that DC would follow the process as they state in their Lemon Law manual included with the purchase of a new vehicle.

I am looking for advice and hopefully some contacts of people higher up in DC whom might be able to assist in this claim.

I know I am a newbie here and please believe me I am not a "troll" but specifically trying to find ways to find closure to this issue.

Any advice which you wish not to post here please feel free to email me jdrandol@hotmail.com

Thank you for sharing!
