Anyone here looking to purchase (or already has one) a 2006 Durango?

1. I noted on the specs that you can get 18 inch wheels but the spare is still a 17. Is this an issue or is there no problem driving with one 17??

2. I also noted that the Limited's all come with grey running boards, regardless of the body colour. I tested a white one yesterday and colour of the boards being different looks really odd - any views on this.

3. Lastly I saw another post here saying for 06 the BLACK changes from clearcloat to Brilliant Pearl Black (which is standard for most new black Dodge cars) but the dodge site still says Black Clearcoat for 06. Can anyone confirm which is the true 06 colour? Personally the Pearl looks much closer to a dark grey to me, I prefer the basic black clearcoat.

I am ordering one tomorrow and have done extensive research on these. I am buying a limited which I am ordering through military sales.

1. 17 is the spare and as with most spares you should only drive to get the full size fixed. Although there isn't much diff in size, there is no problem driving it long distance.

2. You can get color matched running boards through the dealer that look really good. An option only on the limited.

3. As far as the dodge website. It might not be up to date. But if so, you might want to choose a differant color. Black is an awsome color. But it shows every dent and scratches etc.
