2006 Durango Limited 4x4 rear watts link
Just a question. I am new to the forum and I am getting ready to change out what I believe is called the watts link or bell crank on the rear axle of my Durango. Do I need any special tools for this or does anyone have some tips for me? Just changed all of my shocks with Monroe Reflex and now this thing is making noise. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
I used a box wrench and a hammer to get some of the nuts loose. Just put the wrench on and bang the other end of the wrench with the hammer; counter clockwise of course. I have a small sledge hammer. I'm not sure a smaller hammer would work.
I didn't take the whole thing off. Just the pieces necessary to get the differential cover off. Taking down and removing the spare tire helped.
