Cool No cold A/C - Blower motor works

Hi,

My A/C stopped blowing cold air. The A/C blower (under the glove compartment) is working and changing speeds as I changed from the panel.

When I checked the engine section, both the compressor and the condenser fan are not engaging. I noticed that one of the the pressure lines (the one that goes near the power steering reservoir) is wet at the pressed joint before the compressor.

Any idea where to start?

Thanks!

Sounds like you're out of freon. No pressure no work. I don't think the clutch Will try to engage if there is no freon pressure. The refill kits come with pressure gauge. Could try that. Not very spendy.

Refill it with refrigerant.

Smile The problem was...

Hi All!

Thanks for your replies!

The problem was a damage electric fan. The one that goes at the A/C condenser. The system got hot and it cause the compressor to open a release valve that allowed all the refrigerant to escape. Also, one of the pressure lines, did the same through a small hole located in the connecting points. A $200 repair that took a day at the workshop.

Now everything is working great again.

Regards,

Erwin
