Default 2005 Durango 5.7 oil usage

I have a 2005 Dodge Durango limited 5.7 hemi just turned 90000 miles that I have owned for several years. I have started to notice that I am using a quart of oil about every 2000 miles or so. I changed the PCV valve, there are no leaks, the engine is totally dry and it does not smoke. I use Valvoline 5w20 max life synthetic blend oil . Is this normal for this many miles or is there something else I should be looking at ? Thanks.

Are you sure there are no leaks? Check the breather hose and make sure that hose is clean. What color is your oil on the dip stick? Dark? normal color?

There are no leaks, the engine is dry and so is the garage floor. I checked the vent hose it is clear. The oil is normal color, I changed it myself every 3000 miles. I have heard some discussions that these engines are known to use some oil and that is considered normal, but I have no real information to back this up with.
