I found a body to drop on to my "Extra Durango" a couple months ago. A 1953 International R120.
By nightfall, I had it stripped apart.
A couple days later, I got the cab picked up and began test fitting:
I had to channel the entire body a little over 4"
Long Story Short- this was Saturday 4/2/16---
It runs and drives. It's a 2004 Hemi Durango with an international Truck on it.
I still need the radiator and the front bumper mounts. Still have to finish the interior.
All sorts of things done, I'm a couple weeks away from the road test (it will be fine because it's a Dodge Durango underneath all this 63 year old sheet metal)
Oh and another thing- I had to shorten the rear bed 11 inches. I also had to open the wheel wells up to allow the Durango tires to clear.

It's getting stock steel wheels and whitewall tires if you wondered. Thanks and have fun out there and Get Wrenchin'!

Ha ha. Nice. Those old truck cabs feel like sitting in a photo booth don't they?
BTW, I'm delivering that Pontiac to a guy on Friday. He's got a '46 Chevy like this on a Blazer 4x4 frame. He fiberglassed the fenders to go out over the wider track.

Haha! Yes, sitting in this thing is like sitting in a small metal container. It's been so much fun and the internet has been all excited about it.
It's fairly light, so I'll bet it's going to haul the mail when I step on the loud pedal. Stay tuned, there will be video of that too... I had some time off work and I literally devoted almost 2 weeks of sun up, sun down on getting it done. It's not there yet, but I started on the interior today.
