Default Interchangeable Heavy Duty Shock Absorbers?

Hello everyone,
I'm new to the forum and have many questions. First and foremost, I've spent countless hours trying to find the best heavy duty shock upgrade for my recently purchased '07 SLT. It's not lifted, just leveled. I'm used to driving a lifted Wrangler with Rough Country 9000 Nitro shocks, and I'd like to replicate the tight truck-like ride quality on the D. It currently rides like a '60's El Dorado. I've had Bilstein 4600's and Rancho 5000's recommended, but I don't think either will be stout enough for what I'm looking for. I've started trying to cross reference shocks from other trucks since options are so limited for these vehicles. Has anyone had any experience with this idea? I've thought of using Dakota or Ram shocks, but can't seem to find the specs I need to verify if they'll fit. Anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears! I'm replacing bushings with poly this week.
Thanks!
