Default Alpine Sound System with aftermarket head unit

I recently installed an aftermarket double din head unit in my 2009 dodge durango with the alpine sound system. after i bought a wiring harness with an interface module from Scoche and reset the factory amp (unplugged and plugged back in) i started to get sound. before messing with the amp no sound. Now, it has an random skip while playing. i replaced the factory head unit because it would change stations and drop volume randomly. any experience with similar problems?

I used to have similar problems. Turns out the Scosche module was just a piece of **** and was causing all the problems. Maybe try returning it for a different one?
