Default Brake issues

Hey, I was hoping someone here might be able to help me out. Went over to change the pads on a family members Durango today and now the truck is not derivable....first time I have had to leave a vehicle in such a condition unplanned.

Here are the specs for the truck: 2006 Durango, 4x4, 5.7L, 4 wheel disc brakes, 300,000 miles!

The pads swapped out fine until I got to the front right. The one of the pistons was extremely hard to compress, is i took it slow, a quarter turn at a time and let it sit for a couple seconds between tires. It eventually compressed enough to get the caliper back on. Thinking I was done for the day I went to check the brakes and the pedal went to the floor! Engine on, engine off...pedal to the floor, no brakes.

Thinking the issue was the stuck caliper I ran out and got a new one. Installed it, and bled the caliper without issue. Went to bleed the front left and got a solid stream at first, then is started sputtering and on the third press of the pedal there was almost no fluid coming out. After several more cycles I checked the right side again, solid stream on the first pump...then air on the next.

I do not see any signs of leakage from the brake line at the caliper (the only place I opened the system) and the reservoir never emptied. Could the pressure from compressing the difficult piston have caused an issue with the master cylinder? Or could a problem in the lines have made the caliper hard to compress?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Probably popped a line somewhere else. Also, did you bleed the rears as well?

I would start at the rear axle, and start working my way forward, verifying all your lines are intact.
