Pulled into a parking lot, went into store, came out and 2006 Hemi will not restart. Fuses inside checked -- all good. Fuses under hood checked --- all good
Cranks like a demon, can hear fuel pump pressurize, relays all in solid. Pulled fuel pump relay, pump did not pressurize. Swapped one of the other relays into the start/run position, no change. Tried starter fluid sprayed into the intake, no change. When I first tried to start it, it would try to start, but would not run.

Edit --- checked for engine codes --- none
Edit 2 --- just when out to try the beast: started, very low rpm, would not gain rpm -- finally died

Help plse --- out of ideas.

 

unfortunately this forum seems dead did you find the problem?

i'm going to guess your fuel pump wasn't actually pressurizing.. you might have heard something else...

or your fuel pump would spin but the pickup fan inside was bad so the motor would turn but not actually scoop gas/ pump it into the line.

you should have checked to see if gas would come out at the fuel rail valve
