Default Oil on my Spark plug threads!

So I have been having misfires on my #7 cylinder. Finally went and got it checked out and I was told nothing more than I have oil on the threads of my Spark plug and I need a new engine. Nothing more was told and they couldnt tell me exactly where the oil is coming from. Does anyone know if there is a fix to this or not or what it might be? Its an 06 with 130k Miles and i would rather a quick fix than putting 4k on a new engine.
Thanks

Oil there isn't unusual. If they aren't forthcoming with more info, take it someplace else.

If they won't show and tell you exactly what is wrong I would go elsewhere. Oil on the threads is no big deal sometimes, but if there is no compression in cylinder 7 then that is a very big deal.
