Default Tilt Steering Lever

Tilt Steering Lever just moves up and down, no tension anymore. I didn't hear anything snap, and I don't Have anything on the floor board. I just need to know if it's possible to replace the lever to get it to work, or if it's a whole column replacement.

Please state what vehicle you are referring to. Year, model, etc.

I've not been able to find anything online specifically for the Durango other than how to remove the black plastic **** so I don't know how much is actually going to be needed to get in and see. I was trying to figure out if I need to take the steering wheel off to get the covers to get to the switch you know just how intense is it to get in there and actually look and see

No idea if the steering wheel needs to come off..... isn't it just a clamshell housing? (piece on top, piece on bottom?)
