Knock

Hello my D hemi started to knock .. it’s been parked do not want to hurt the engine more .found very sparkle gray on oil change it knocks at start up even when it’s warm. Any recommadtions .

2005 Durango 5.7 hemi. 167,000 miles. Oil change every 3,000 well maintain . Just started knocking while driving home .since then it’s been park in home garage

Sounds like a spun bearing, although it would be better if you posted a small video with audio of the noise for a better guess.

Either way, if the oil had lots of metal in it like you said, that engine is done.
