Hi-

I have a 2006 Durango Limited with the 5.7 V8 Hemi, and the airbag light is on intermittently. My mechanic says it needs a clock spring. He originally quoted me $350 to get it fixed a few months ago. When I finally scraped up the cash, he told me the part went up to $600. (apparently I need the one with the electronic stability control on it.) A month later, when I got the credit card paid off, I asked him to order the part. Now it's $1500 from the Dodge dealer. I can't seem to find the right part, and would be willing to purchase a used/remanufactured part, BUT ..I can't find one. (It would help if I had the actual part number. Can't seem to find that either.) Has anyone got a source for parts, or know where I could get a used one? Any suggestions at all??

I don't really want to pay $1500 for a part and more for labor for a SUV that has over 202000 miles on it. (Did I mention that?)

Any help ...would be helpful.
