Question What is this hole in my roof?

So I just purchased a 2005 Durango SLT, I think (weird circumstance, don't judge me :-D). I don't think under the hood specs are relevant, but it's a 4.7L V8, 5 speed automatic. Anyway, I noticed this hole in the middle of my roof, toward the front. I have no idea why it's there or what was there before. Any ideas what might have left that hole, and any suggestions on the best way to plug it?

What is this hole in my roof?

Could have been a cb radio or satellite antenna that was removed for some reason. Welcome to the forum.

It could be from and antenna. The other markings on the roof look like it was for a light bar of some type.

Thanks! I stuck a body trim clip in there for now in case it rains, but I'll have to figure something out.
