Default 2005 Durango 5.7 Hemi

A few months ago I decided to change my plugs and wires myself. I managed to do the right bank, with trouble, so I asked a friend of mine who was more quilified than myself to do the harder side of the engine. Well, a few days later when I got my Durango back it didnt run the same. Meaning... as you drove down the road and stepped on the gas, it would drop down in gears but there was no power. Fast forword, i ended up changing out the complete drive train from the front axl back to the rear dif. And I just got it back today and it still is ndoing the same thing. Does anybody have a clue what I should do?

What prompted you to change the entire drivetrain? What sort of tests did you perform to make you think that was the problem? If you back up, did it run right before the plug change? Did you take it back to your friend and ask him? Did he use the correct plugs? Did he gap them properly? You say wires were changed, did you verify the wiring was correct?

Those are all very good questions. I just took matters into my own hands thinking it had to be the tranny, I found one and put it in. No I never checked my friends work...I trusted him. But now after all this its still running bad, actually its running worse. So today I will check his work.
