Hello and thanks for viewing. I need help with finding an 8 pin actuator lock for a lift gate for a 2007 Dodge Durango. Most of what I have found similar to the one I got/need comes in 6 and 7 pin. Will a 7 Pin connector work? The new actuator doesnt have some of the hookups that my old broke one has: the spring and the little wire that trigger the power when you open it manually. I have looked and looked but was unsuccessful in finding an exact match. Any information or alternate methods will be helpful. Thanks!

 

What are the part numbers for both actuators?

 

The newer looking actuator seems to have a broken gear as well,

 

Thanks for your response. I had to go on ebay and buy an identical used one. This new one wouldnt work right with my wiring harness setup.
