Default 07 Passenger seat foam & cover to driver side?

I hit a VERY LARGE deer and totaled the front end of my 07 DD that I have had for years and love the crap out of! After much searching I found another 07 DD, much nicer with more options, 4WD, towing, heated seats.. the works. Also half the miles of my original DD. Seriously, it's like this thing was garage kept. I have no idea how it got 132,000 miles and still be in this great of condition. AND it was a fantastic price! The only major issue, and it's obviously not a deal breaker cause I bought it.... the two front seat bottoms are thrashed! My old DD, the driver side seat bottom is also thrashed but passenger side is perfect.

Since I have a dead DD with a perfectly good front passenger seat bottom, can I move that to the driver side seat in the new DD? I've watched videos showing how to replace the seat foam and reinstall the cover. Also videos on replacing just the seat cover. And the heated seat option also. I've got all the how-to information. Online places sell driver seat foam and cover or passenger seat foam and cover. Honestly, they both look the same to me. Is there some reason I can't switch passenger side foam and cover to driver side? Sure would save me some $$!
Thanks,
Victoria

I can confirm that yes, you can switch one side to the other. I moved the passenger seat foam and cover to the driver side seat, also the heated seat insert. I will be switching the driver seat foam to the passenger side, probably Saturday assuming it's not raining. I'm sure someone is thinking... why? On the old DD, the driver seat wasn't as bad as I thought so I'm going to put it on the passenger side of my 'new to me' DD so that side will have a better seat than it does now.
