Default Problems with Old Faithful

My 06 dodge Durango 4.7l V8 is throwing p0171 code. Will crank over but won’t start. It got me to work then when I went to start her up to leave. Just cranking no turn. My friend thought it might be the fuel pump so he hit my tank lightly a few times and she fired up and made it home. But after that back to crank no start. Any ideas? I have an appointment set to get her looked at next week. Wanted to get some insight tho. Thanks in advance.

System too lean, bank 1.

And given that the thump on the gas tank got it to start once, I think fuel pump is a good bet.
