2004 Durango SLT Hemi. About four months ago, my wife was driving the truck and the engine revvd up and wouldn't back down. The car took off and she had to brake aggressively and turn off the ignition to get the car to stop. The same thing happened again about three days later.

I took it to the dealer who checked and replaced the throttle body. Since then, no problems.\

Today, the same thing happened with our two kids in the car and she was shaken up pretty bad. The dealer can't take it until next Tuesday so it's parked until then. Has anyone experienced this or is this a widely known problem? The dealer stated that it wasn't common, but they'll say anything.

I'm thinking it may be a vacuum problem or maybe the accelerator is sticking? I hope you get this figured out let us know what happens.
