BROKEN front end terminal!
Hi guys!
This past thursday I saw a -D- (2004 or 2005) on the road with a broken front terminal. The picture was terrible because the passenger side front wheel was completely bend to the back and the front end chasis hit the road. The damage is very obvious. How can this happened to vehicle so new? It wasn't a 2006 model because I noticed the black top at the rear bumper.
Does anyone know about any recall for the front end terminals? This person was lucky as he (or she) was entering to a parking lot and not riding on the highway when this happened.

Don't worry. Totally my fault. The correct part name is Outer Tie Rod and it is located at the end of the rack and pinion assembly. Once this part broke, the wheel, and the car, gets out of control. Extremely dangerous if you're at highway speeds.
