I'm looking for a good tone not loud. And preformance as well.I would think a better flowing muffler would help, not gain fuel mileage.

I've got the cat-back Magnaflow installed in my 04 Hemi, and it's pretty loud in the cabin. Somewhat annoying at times, with the constant low drone. From what I gather it sounds like it might be too loud for what you are looking for. I myself like to listen to my music at high volume (not super loud though) so I don't really hear the exhaust. Only when I have other people in the car. My wife doesn't seem to mind it, and my 3 year old is seeminliy oblivious.

As far as the Hemi sound is concerned, I bought a cold air intake kit, one of those $30 kits on ebay, and it does let some of the Hemi-ness come out. Only during hard acceleration, and not while cruising. This was before the Magnaflow, stock exhaust. Obviously all the extra noise comes from the front of the vehicle and not the rear though.

There's still some performance gains too. Any cold air system will do, I don't feel like paying 10x more at this time for something that works the same.

Conclusion: If it's more for the wife to hear, and less for the people outside the car, that seems like what you want...a complete cold air intake system, replacing everything after the throttle body. That should do it.
