I just bought my wife an 06 durango with Hemi.. It's the limited edition and fully loaded with every possible option. But now I want to add the good stuff. I love power. What would you recommend. I was thinking supercharger/exhaust and dyno tune.. Anyone ever done that??

 

Wow your just jumping right in with a supercharger huh? Sounds nice I would go with everything you said but instead of a dyno tune get your own programmer so you can switch it up for what you need it for at the time. Also a fastman TB at www.thefastman.com I would say try and get in touch with Dan to see if he makes one for the 2nd gen durango's. Other than that headers and propably start getting into internals. Oh and are those rims stock?

 

Yeah.. I love superchargers.. You can't see it but on the other side of the DD is a mustang with 600Hp. It's an 03 GT and has a vortech supercharger and a bunch of other goodies in it. I know guy that dyno tunes cars so thats why I threw that out there.

Nah. Those rims were put on by the dealer. He tried to charge me 3995 for them. When I told him I wanted the stock ones back on there he immediately went to 1595. I still pushed and said I wanted the stock ones.. He ended up giving me those wheels instead. The jury is still out on whether I like them or not.

 

They look ok but I would prefer a bigger tire to fill it out but then again the way you're going I would propably want bigger rims and low pro tires and keep those for winter.

 

Winter.. ?? What's that.. It rains for like 45-60 days here and thats it.. The rest of the time its dry and nice out.. I might go with a lower profile tire. We will see. You can already feel every bump in the road. I tried low profile tires on my Shelby Cobra and it was terrible. The suspension is way to stiff of for that. So I went back to the original tires.

Hmmm.. Thats not a bad deal for the exhaust if the bidding stays low.. I can break out my mig welder and fix it up..

 

I got my wife the same.She got white besides black.We live down 2 miles of country road.Tinted the front windows with 20% then went over factory tint with 20% as well.The darker the tint the cooler ac,here in Texas.Were leaning toward the www.magnaflowexhaust.com.Shes got 3,000 miles on it gets aveage 16.5.We have have the limited as well.We love it.The kids love the dvd.I love the factory Apline sound system it ROCKS!!!!!!!!Were very pleased!!!!!!!!

 

I am thinking about doing the tint.. Do you have any pictures of what yours looks like with tint??
