I have a heavily modified '04 D that has HIDs in the headlights and fogs. I noticed one headlight was out so I tried it in the other socket and it worked. That leaves two possibilities: 1 the driver's side headlight fuse was tripped or 2 the Ballast is burnt. My problem is that I have no clue where the headlight fuses are found. Already looked under the hood but none are labeled headlight. looked under the dash but that fuse box doesn't include a labeled diagram. Can anyone tell me where to find the driver's side fuse? And are the headlights independently protected by one or two fuses?

 

I own a first gen D but if you have a test light you can run through all of the fuses and see if any are blown like that or remove them one at a time and eyeball them. I had a similar problem with one of my foglights and it ended up being a loose connection. I would say pull the battery cable and tweak the post out a little with a screwdriver that may be all you need it worked for me.

 

Sounds like just a bad conection to me. Get a test light and start checking.
