Six cylinder performance

RE: Six cylinder performance
Yea, you unbolt the V6 and bolt in a real motor like a V8.
Just kidding! I have not heard of anything V6 specific however any Durango mod non-engine specific should be fine.
I know the D is underpowered in the 4.7L V8 config, how do you like and get by with the 3.7L. I haven't heard of anyone with the 3.7. DC only put it in the D for the bump in the CAFE numbers.

RE: Six cylinder performance
I have seen the usual bolt-ons for the 3.7 - Jet chip, cold air intake, exhaust, etc. In order to get real power from the 3.7, you are going to have to do more than that. Think supercharger, turbo, internal parts (cam), or even nitrous - although I am NOT a nitrous fan... However, you may find that it is easier and less expensive to swap engines or even vehicles when you consider what it takes to make a V-6 perform like a V-8. There is no substitute for cubic inches!
Most big speed stores will have this stuff, like Summit Racing and the others. http://www.summitracing.com/
Good luck!
