Default AC still not working after software update!

Hey guys! Well, I waited for the AC software fix. Guess what...after driving my '04 Durango for one day it is back to the same ole thing...blowing hot air. Let me know if you are having the same problem.

I had mine fixed. They initially upgraded the software, then when i pulled out of the dealership, same thing. AC was blowing warm air. I went right back in and they asked me to leave it.
After 2 days, they finally fixed it. They had to send some computer guy from chrysler and they had some settings that they adjusted. I'm not sure what it was but i think it was something about the IP address that the software was being downloaded from .... not really sure but I didn't have time for the mechanic to explain it to me further. Anyway, it's working now...

Hey guys, after three times trying to fix my AC it is still blowing hot air. It is 7/31/04 and my truck was doing the exact same thing as before. I have been told that mine was the only one that they were having trouble out of. If any one else is having trouble after the second software update, please let me know.

Well if your vehicle has been in for service 3 times or more for the same problem within 18 months, then you can always claim the "LEMON CAR POLICY" I know it varies from state to state so you might want to check. My uncle claimed it on his first new 2001 Durango that the dealer could not find where the coolant was leaking from after several trips, he claimed the lemon law and the dealer and Dodge did not fight it at all he said, they gave him all his money and then some of the extra he put into the vehicle towards a new 2002 model. He has not had a problem since.

I had the ECU flash on 7/6, and it DID NOT fix my A/C coming on hot sometimes either. The dealer was aware of the IOD fuse TSB, but said it did not apply to this problem. They suggested when it happens, cut the car off and crank it back up again. They also said they have not seen anyhthing officali come from Chrsyler about it, but have seen other cars with this same problem.

Hey guys. I took my 04 Durango in yesterday again! They reflashed it for the third time. Good news though. While the tech was working on it, he did experience the ac getting hot. They are now going to install a expansion valve? Does this make sense? Anyone out there with more info? I would welcome the advice.
