Default atuo door locks, disable

How can Idisable the auto door locks that lock when you go over 15 mph. I tried the ignition switch on and off 3 times trick that the manual suggests. But it doesn't work... I did get the seat belt buzzer to stay off with the seat belt buckle trick.

Default RE: atuo door locks, disable

What does the manual say to do? I bought my Ram used, and there is no manual. I've just go into the habit of holding my finger on the unlock switch every time I take off. Another thread said something about sitting in the drivers seat, door closed, switch the ignition on/off 4 times, then within 10 seconds hit the door locks to the lock position. That was a thread for a peon, so I'm not sure if it'll work for the trucks or not(?). I'm very interested if you find a way to cure this issue.
