04 durango a/c not working.
Own a 2005 Durango. Just had to replace the blower motor resistor because I had no blowing air (just heat). Discovered the ground wire had insulation burnt off and it's connecting point in the resistor was melted! Replaced the resistor, but this problem will reoccur as there is no fix (as of yet) for the heat coming through the ground wire. Chrysler needs a recall for this problem! The resistor is a dealer part that sells for less than $20. It's located under the passenger footwell but be sure to disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable before replacing the resistor.
