dreaming of what could've been.
Hey,
I'm sure this question has been asked already, but here goes.
I was told by a salesman some time ago, that Dodge was looking into making the Intrepid a rear wheel drive car and that in fact the car frame wasdesigned to accept a rear wheel drive set up!
What happened?!
From all accounts, popularity dwindled and they weren't selling enough of them to continue the model. Bull!!!
Everywhere I go I see them, and most are in prestene condition! I owned a 2001 SE and was looking forward to upgrading to an ES or RT model when I had to trade it in for a mini-van!@#$%
Any way, I thought some day I just be able to go out and get another one in a year or so,
but nooooo!
Why? why? why?
I miss my car. I still plan to get another one in about a year or so. (an ES, steel pearlcoat blue, sunroof, 8 spkr stereo, leather, tint, wood and chrome trim.....).
