2000 Dodge intrepid
2.7 l motor with 90k miles
The check engine light flashed a couple of times after just starting it but the car is still running fine. What are possible causes and should i expect something to go bad or assume something is wrong even if the car seems to be running fine?

go get it scanned such a broad question is like asking your DR over the phone my head hurts whats wrong. Oh BTW a check engine light dones not just come on with out something being the matter.
