Default Help with V belt & serpentine belt on 2001

I need to replace the v-belt for the A/C on my 01 Intrepid, but I have two problems.
I can't figure out how to loosen the serpentine belt enough to get it off. I can see an adjuster screw behind the pulley, but the head is pointing down and I can't see anyway to get to it short of putting the car on a lift.
Even if I could get the serpentine off, I can't see how you're supposed to adjust the tension on the A/C belt because I haven't been able to get the compressor to swing in any direction.
Is this something that is designed to be done in a shop?

I miss the days when you loosened a bracket and adjusted tension byprying with a big screwdriver

You have to loosen the nut on the face of the tensioner pulley and then turn the adjuster bolt to back off the tensioner pulley. The is the same for the serpentine and the v-belt.

Thanks for the quick response, I really appreciate the help.
Do mean the nut on the pulley itself or the nuts holding the bracket to the engine?
The v-belt goes around the compressor, the main pulley and another pulley at the bottom of the engine below the A/C, is that the tensioner for the v-belt? If it is it's going to be a pain to get to unless I'm supposed to come at it from beneath.
