I bought a rechargingkit and the coupler will not fit on the port. It's close. Any thoughts?

 

How old is the car? Freon type changed in the 90's and the two arn't compatable, thats why they made different size fittings. For the old freon, you need special equipment in the USA to handel it (not overseas). You will either have to bring it to a shop, or get a conversion kit installed.
