Default battery relocation@2000 intrepid

i'm new to the forum, so i hope this question is not a "repeat." is anyone aware of a battery relocation kit, aftermarket or otherwise, for the 2000 intrepid? what i'm thinking of is something whereby i can move the battery to the trunk of the car and then run the cables there. i know other vehicles have this available, but am not sure what the dodge aftermarket has. any links or information will be appreciated. thanks.

All you can do is buy a battery box and 15 feet of battery cable for the postive side and 2 to 3 feet of cable for the negitive side. Mount the box inside the trunk and insert the battery. Connect the negitive cable to the neg terminal and connect it to the trunk's metal (must sand to bare metal on that spot). Next run the postive cable from the engine bay to the trunk. Theres a few ways to connect the cable in the engine bay. One is to use some 4 gauge ring terminals and bolt them together and use heat shrink to cover it. Two is to just use heavy duty clamps. Three use heavy duty 4 gauge butt splices. What I used was the butt splices and ran the cable under the car and zip tied it to the frame (away from moving parts) and brought it though the grommet under the back seat then into the trunk.\

Now remember theres two cables in all for the positive in the engine back at the battery. One for the main power (fuse box, starter and such) and the other is for the alternator.
