Default OBD code 340 344

I have a 2004 Intrepid with a 3.5 and I believe I have the same problem. I was told to turn the key on and of three times and then leave it on and a blink code would be presented by the check engine lite, but to my suprise the odometer showed three codes in order, P0016-P0340-P0344 are these the OBD II codes I should be doing something about? I dont have a seperate code reader and was wondering how serious this is since the car runs fine with the lite on.

I too believe I have this problem, I was told to turn the key on and off three times to get the blink code but to my suprise they show in the odometer-
P0016,P0340,P0344
are these the OBDII codes or some other thing? should I be concerned since the car runs fine?

Default 0344 and jerking after 2400 rpms

I had similiar problems and after replacing the CPM and it wasn't fixed. I checked my spark plug wires...one was badly cracked (half way up the sleeve). After replacing that, the car runs great.

I hope this helps.

Default 0344 and 0340

after replacing the head b/c the spark plug stripped out. I am now again having the problem of 0344 and 0340.
2005 dodge neon 2.0 L head off of a 1996 dodge neon 2.0 L
Both the Dealership and Auto-part stores assured me the head is the same.

After checking timing to be sure it was correct I am having the error codes again and the car is in "limp" mode.

Replaced the PCM and no change. I have tried 3 total with no solution yet.
Wiring looks good and the PCM for the 96 and 05 neons are the same per auto-parts stores......

ANY IDEAS?

Default po344 &po340 codes

had po344 code replaced camshaft sensor , problem dissapeared. code reader read yellow for about 25 miles. with a few sensor readings bouncing, o2, cat and one dont rember. possiable that a po340 is for the crankshaft position sensor.
or wiring in between my lucky guess? figured a lot of heat up front by the fan.
code reader suggested interment readings. maybe code 344 & 340 indicate a problem between two systems, my vieh only 65k.

cheap relief about 38 bucks, destressing now
