Default Please help I have power steering problems

I own a 2004 Dodge Intrepid with a 2.7 liter. I heard a slight humming noise and my father said it was probably the power steering pump. I decided to replace the pump,Iwent to NAPA and purchased a power steering pump, belt, and power steering fluid (which they suggested). We replaced the belt, power steering pump, and flushed the system out with power steering fluid. I then turned the steering wheel while the car was on the ground and it now makes an extremly loud growl. I dont know what to do to fix the problem, i have to drive 1000 miles on friday so someone please help me i dont want to spend a fortune at the dealership!!!!

thats just simply air in the system, it is normal for a newly installed pump. drive it for a few miles, then shut the car off and remove the resevoir cap. look inside, if its bubbly, let it sit with the cap off for 1/2 hour or so, top it off if needed and do it again. it will eventualy go away. perfectly normal.
