Default Help: Can't remove speaker in middle of dashboard

I can't remove the speaker. I need to get to it so I can disconnect it as it is blown. I've tried to remove the dashboard but I have no idea what I'm doing.

The speaker is located right in the middle of the dashboard close to the windshield and next to the alarm flashing light.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

are you looking to replace the speaker or simply get rid of it. if you want to get rid of it,:

remove passenger side kick panel (side panel at your passengers right side) by taking out two phillips head screws on face and there is one tab under the door sill. You will now see a bundled wire group that leads to your amp. Locate the pink/black and pink/red wires that are taped together, cut both wires..that's it!!!

if you are looking to replace:

Pull the trim from the A pillars off, and lift up the dash cover closest to the windshield. It pops right off. Unscrew the speaker, and disconnect the harness. replace is simply the opposite.
