2002 intrepid turn signal intermittant
Turn signal is intermitant (turns on for maby 1 or 2 blinks then shuts off - some times more). Hazards work fine.
I have an electronic flasher i would like to try replacing that if possible. However I can not find the location for the turn signal flasher. I cannot find it in manual or even in the car repair guide (the guy at Autozone could not find it in the car repair guide either).
I even went to the dealership to ask them and the parts guy could only tell me it was located next to the fuse box (under the hood) in the Carriage. He wouldn't print me any kind of picture or even the description on the computer he was looking at. Really dissapointed that I cant find where this part is located at.
Anyone here know?
Thanks for the help.

Flasher should be somewhere to the left of the steering column underneath.Mechanic also said that if you hold the turn signal switch on, the flasher will actually vibrate and could help you find it.Good luck!
Well I was sick for a week (still getting over it) but i finally got around to trying it out and it worked!
What threw me the first time was that the (its considered a relay right?) blicker relay kinda had a custom case that the plug plugged into to (and that case was mounted to something else). The part i got from Advanced Auto was a general one that works I just had to zip tie it to to something so it wasnt hanging.
Im really relieved it worked.
Thanks again for the advice it was under the steering column. For anyone curious I had to remove the kick under dash panel and the metal kick panel. Then get below steering wheel and look up. There was a black squarish plug and an orange one. The black one was it.

The flasher (NAPA pn# EP-27, $18.00) is located under the dash by the firewall, right next to an large flat orange plug. The factory unit (black housing) is hard mounted, so you will remove the plug by pressing in on the single clip on the bottom of the housing and pulling the plug aft towards the rear of the car (you are disconnecting the connector from the housing, not the housing from the connector). Just plug the new relay into the connector and ziptie it to something so it does not flop around.
