Default air directional/ac-rear defrost buttons

I have always had problems with the battery termenal corroading and it did it again this weekend. i had someone jump it and now my air only blows to the front windshield defroster and the rear defrost and AC buttons do not work. if i disconnect the battery and reconnect it i can get the direction of the air to flow to my face and then after about 1 second it goes back to the defroster. any thoughts? Thanks.

Take the cover off the laft side dash panel end cap. Pull the fuse that sticks out more than the others for about 5 minutes. Put it back in and see what happens.

That didn't work. Is there a motor other than the actual blower motor that has anything to do with the direction? Thanks.
