Default Squealing sound

I have a 2004 Dodge Intrepid 2.7L. While my car is running, parked or driving, it makes a high pitched squealing sound sometimes. It's not all the time. It doesn't seem to happen when I'm driving fast. Maybe it's just because I can't hear it when I'm going fast, I don't know. When I do hear it, it's when I'm going slow, stopped or parked. I'm thinking maybe it's a fan or something, but it doesn't start making the sound when the fans kick in or anything... Does anyone have any idea what it could be? I know I didn't describe it very well, but that's the best I could do... Any idea how much it would cost to take it somewhere and have them tell me what it is? If I take it to a garage and have a mechanic come listen to the sound will they be able to figure out what it is just from the sound?

It might be a serpentine belt. Only thing that comes to mind about squealing in park and drive.
